Messaging & Consent

Last updated: September 8, 2026

LeadRescue is built around permission-based, inbound communication only. It does not perform outbound cold calling or unsolicited outreach.

Consent: a contact is only messaged after they submit an inbound request (form, text, or quote request) and agree to be contacted by text. Consent evidence — basis, source, and timestamp — is recorded for every contact.

Opt-out: every conversation honors STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT, and replies to HELP with sender and contact details. On opt-out we immediately stop automated messages, set the lead to opted-out, log the revocation, and send a single confirmation. Contacts can resubscribe by texting START.

For businesses using LeadRescue: live SMS requires a registered Twilio messaging service, A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration (US), accurate opt-in language on your forms, and adherence to Twilio and carrier policies. Configure these before enabling live SMS — the project documentation includes a compliance checklist.
